The numbers 0 ~ 9, the letters A ~ Z and the characters - . / : $ % * + (including a space itself).
Byte (17)
All the letters, numbers and special characters.
Kanji (10)
All the Kanji symbols 日 本 に ほ ん
Note that all text is converted to UPPER CASE. This is because upper case is considered Alphanumeric, while lower case is Byte. So by using upper case you can fit more characters in the QR code.
